#4: Get to Know Your In-Laws in the Great Outdoors.

Give your family and friends an opportunity to get to know each other by scheduling some activities in the Mission Valley. What better way to break the ice than with a challenging hike in the Mission Mountains, a cherry-pit spitting contest on Flathead Lake, or a paddleboard race on Mission Reservoir? Alternatively, entertain your guests at one of our local events, such as the Arlee pow-wow and rodeo, St. Ignatius Good Ol’ Days, Pioneer Days in Ronan, or the cherry festival in Polson. Grab your best gals and go waltz in the flowers. In the spring, the fields are filled with bright yellow arrow balsamroot, dainty blue flax, and bursting apple blossoms.
