JUNE
“Golden Hour” photos are spectacular in june.

Begin “happily ever after” at the Rugged Horizon wedding venue in St. Ignatius, Montana. For this June wedding, the couple created an entrance to their ceremony with a chalkboard sign mounted on French doors. The chalkboard sign read “happily ever after” on one side, and “Mr. and Mrs.” on the other. They were married outside with the Mission Mountains behind them.

AUGUST
in august, venture out into the mission mountains for a cool swim in the reservoir or a forested hike to the waterfalls.
August Highlights: August is the month for farm-to-table dining. Local produce is in season, including sweet Dixon melons, huckleberries, heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, and carrots. To put a local touch on your reception, add a huckleberry pie or a huckleberry signature drink to your wedding menu.

September Highlights: As we transition into fall, the days are still warm, but the nights are cool. Fall colors begin to grace the valley, and snow returns to the peaks. This month is a good one for a glass of cider by the fire pit, a vibrant bouquet of dahlias, and a peck basket overflowing with apples picked from the orchard.

Fall colors are at their height in october.
October Highlights: Fall colors peak in October, and the mountains catch fire with the larch trees turning gold. Snow begins to descend the mountains, and moody clouds add a dramatic backdrop to outdoor wedding ceremonies.

WINTER
(Off-Season, November - April)
